Orbi WiFi 7 Add-On Satellite: The Orbi RBE970 Quad-Band WiFi 7 Add-On Satellite lets you easily add 3,300 sq. ft. of powerful WiFi coverage to your Orbi 970 series WiFi 7 Mesh system (sold separately). The Orbi WiFi 7 satellite creates a dedicated WiFi connection with the convenience of a single WiFi name for your whole home or office.
Note: The Orbi RBE970 WiFi 7 Add-On Mesh Satellite is not a stand alone device and requires an Orbi Mesh RBE971 WiFi 7 Router that’s included with the Orbi 972S 2-pack and RBE973S 3-pack systems (both sold separately).
2.2GHz Quad-Core Processor: A powerful quad-core 2.2 GHz processor delivers ultra-high performance, connectivity, and speed; while a 4 GB flash memory and 2 GB RAM offers vastly improved throughput.
WiFi 7 (802.11be) with 6 GHz Band: The Orbi Mesh System supports the latest WiFi 7 (802.11be) standard, offering a 6 GHz WiFi band to deliver true Gigabit speeds of up to 11.53 Gbps. The WiFi 7 standard sends and receives multiple streams of data simultaneously, providing faster speeds while allowing the Orbi Mesh System to easily handle all the traffic in the busiest smart homes using heavy-bandwidth devices.
Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO): Using Multi-User (4×4) MIMO technology, the Orbi Mesh System can stream data to multiple devices simultaneously. With MU-MIMO, your WiFi network can deliver faster throughput to every MU-MIMO connected device. That means faster downloads and smoother streaming for your devices.
